Kiernan`s Pub and Tavern in Pine Bush

We sat in the bar room dining room which was a great atmosphere for my 18 month old to kinda let loose. I thought it was cool that all the tables were different styles. The beer was good, the service was nice but the food was not really that good. I was with 3 other people and no one finished their meal or took it to go. We all agreed that it was just really terrible. I guess the food would work if you were sitting at the bar drinking and ordered an egg roll or something just so you are not drinking on an empty stomach. 3 stars because of the atmosphere and they were nice but a hard no on the food. Which I feel bad about because they were nice.

On Sunday we decided to order take out to support local business during these trying times. The food was subpar at best and seemed to be left over. The boneless bbq spare ribs came in a very small container that rice usually goes in, was 8.25 and tasted like beef jerky. I’m not one to write reviews but this was a waste of money and very disappointing. In times where you are supporting local business one would think they would try harder to make sure everything is fresh.

Awesome place Chinese food was spectacular great atmosphere

I've been there several times, not bad for Chinese food, the other nite I ordered the veggie egg fu yung. No seasoning at all, as for veggies the only veggies were onions.

I always come purchasing some food in this place. I liked the prompt customer service and well made dishes. Fantastic work.

Chinese restaurant in a former Irish pub... Yeah. Food is delicious and more-authentic-than-usual cuisine. Truly a find in Pine Bush -- best Chinese in lower Ulster County

Awesome. The bartenders are great. Love them. The food the atmosphere. All great. I recommend Larry's to everyone.

Normally our go to for yummy chinese. Latley seems to be hit or miss. The service has not been where it used to be. I really hope they get it together because it seems to be a staple of the town.

The food is very good. The error rate on take out is brutal. I have gotten take out I think now about 6 times. Only once was the order perfect. They have forgotten egg rolls, gave me a combination dinner when I ordered regular, forgotten to provide condiments when requested, and given me condiments other than requested. It's actually becoming humorous as well as annoying. But messed up take out is not unique to Larry's. It's epidemic at local places. Again, that aside, I do like the food. So overall grade B-.

Food was very good. Service was amazing. Restaurant was clean. Was family friendly. Bar was seperate and set up as a sports bar. Bathroom were very clean. Large menu selection. Prices were reasonable. Don't be deceived by the name, the menu is predominantly Chinese food.

Expensive and horrible food. I can understand why they are overpriced. Probably because they are really the only takeout Chinese food in the area. However, if you are going to spend that much money on takeout, then please know how to properly cook Chinese food. Our chicken fried rice was so watered down, chicken was rubbery, which usually means half cooked. Egg rolls mediocre. Never again. I will have to search around for better Chinese food. Since we have moved up here we have yet to find it.

Excellent Chinese buffet... always fresh and hot.

They had ants all over the tables and food was tough and cold not going back better go to the other chinese by rt 52 great food there.

The food was very good, and service was pleasant. My only complaint is that the restaurant and bar are seperated yet the bars music is so extremely loud even in the dining room. I'll definitely return as the service and food were both a pleasure.

It’s 4 stars because the people and management are great. Service was friendly and fast. Not too crowded. I appreciate that it’s a bar and a Chinese restaurant in upstate Ny. You don’t find too many of those!!

This place has the best Chinese food in the area. Service is outstanding. I usually order from Larry's once a week. They also have the best wings in Pine Bush. Many locals go to the bar here. It's like old home week when you go to the bar, you see people that you haven't seen in awhile.I stongly recommend this place

Had a family reunion here, which seems weird, I know, but it's got a full bar, and a whole big room you can rent. Very, very nice staff and the food was delicious. There's an area outside you can go, too. Ita actually really nice.

Quick and easy takeout- never a problem. Good combos, lunch specials- we always have a delicious meal! Larry is the best!

It's a little overhyped, service is great and a very friendly environment but the food was just ok. Portions were very generous but not when the food is bland. I would recommend trying it because it's the best Chinese place in pinebush but don't get to excited as it may disappoint you. Larry a very nice owner but it gets a C+

Very neat and convenient place. They provide generous meals and for economical prices. We loved the food a lot and the staff members were super amiable and explanatory. I recommend this place.

I celebrated my graduation this evening in this fine place. happy to tell that it was a delightful evening and the restaurant was indeed the reason for the happy celebration. The waiters cooperated in a graceful way, the cuisine was very good and my guests were so cheerful. We shall absolutely visit again for more celebrations. Thank you very much.

Very reasonably priced, we love the food- but we always get the same meal sweet and sour chicken or General Tsao

The best place to describe this restaurant is like an old country diner that sells Chinese food. Nice atmosphere, low price, and very good food. Portions are sized well. If I'm ever in the area again, I will definitely stop here.

Always great service

I give Larry the owner and his restaurant 5 stars all around. He has been in business over 30 years. He personally greets the customers and is a wonderful host. Prices are very reasonable. A restaurant you can bring the family to or have a nice dinner for two.

Great crowd and good people always fun at happy hour

Slow service and waiter git desapear. He was rushing to bring the food at the table. Dropped apetizers and two minutes later main courses were in the table as well. When my wife and my self started the main course were cold.

I visitHad a great experience in this place with my girlfriend. The food arrives quickly and the service is just fantastic. Prices are affordable. this place a lot since I work close by. I must say the service is always excellent and they keep the place well kept regularly. Pricing is reasonable and they serve large portions.
